Drop Bottom
Drop bottom furnaces are designed for medium to large batch loads that require the industry's fastest quench times. They are designed for aluminum castings, forgings, sheet metal and extrusions. HeatTek designs include the latest construction techniques, insulation systems and control packages to ensure our drop bottom furnaces set the industry standard. Our custom drop bottom furnaces can be designed to suit your specific industrial application.
Quench systems utilize either straight water or varying concentrations of glycol water mixtures and are temperature controlled to match final desired end results. HeatTek designs incorporate extremely fast quench times and temperature uniformity with quick-acting, hydraulically-actuated furnace doors, heavy duty hydraulic lift systems and high volume quench tank agitation. Air quench options are also available.

- Tight temperature uniformity (+/- 5°F), up to Class 1 available

- Cable hoist and hydraulic lift system to handle the heaviest loads in the shortest time
- Mobile quench tank with integral load/unload
- Compliance with AMS 2770H, AMS 2771, AMS 2750 and CQI 9 specifications
